Do you know how many people are unreached by the gospel of Jesus Christ? According to current statistics over 40% of the worlds population, or 2.75 billion people, belong to a people group that does not have an indigenous Christian presence with "adequate numbers and resources to evangelize this people group." (1)

With numbers like these you may be asking the same question I have - "How will the work of preaching the gospel unto all nations ever be accomplished?"

Although the task seems daunting I believe I saw the answer in action during the past two months. Let me explain.

From December 14 to February 4 I had the privilege of traveling thousands of miles throughout one of the darkest areas on earth and what I saw was absolutely amazing! I was visiting the various LIGHT training schools scattered throughout India and Nepal. From the southern state of Tamil Nadu to West Bengal here is a recap of what God did in that short period of time:

• Twelve one month schools all over India and one in Nepal
  • 30 volunteers
  • 300 + participants who are now equipped to serve as health evangelists
  
  
• Twelve health expo's
  • Breaking down prejudice and building friendships in several communities
  • Over 2300 people in attendance
  • Scores of people indicating a desire to study health and the Bible
  
  
• Countless lives changed from the course material. Listen to this testimony from Deepa, a student in our one month course in Erode:
   
  "I praise the Lord for giving me an opportunity to participate in the 1 month training.
  Many did not have  that opportunity but this gospel medical missionary training has taught me many truths.
  
  What I liked:
  - The lesson about evangelism and soul winning was an new experience for me. For the past one and half years I was little bit reluctant in ministry. I didn’t have the ministerial burden nor the burden for the souls.  I didn’t think  about my spiritual life nor about my family. But if there is any thing which was nailed in my mind, that is  the salvation of soul. I learned a lot but specifically I realized about Gods love.
  - Through this one month training I understood that Christ mingled with the people and had compassion for the people and met their needs. Therfore even I should do the ministry not in my own strength but in the power of Holy Spirit for the salvation of the souls.
   
  My decision:
  - First I need to consecrate myself to God. Then I should reflect Christ character in my daily life.
  - After 2 years of my training I should do ministry for Christ.
  - I should be a true worker for God not only in form but also with love."

This is only one of the hundreds of testimonies of changed lives. Truly, "in new fields no work is so successful as medical missionary work." (2)

But, that is not all! While these schools were being conducted there were also schools taking place in Brazil, Honduras, Peru, the Philippines, Kenya, Moldova, Austria, and Australia.

To keep up with the requests coming from throughout the world we found that our team needed a new office so on March 8 we started clearing the land. The office will be adjacent to the Wildwood Hospital and Lifestyle Center. By God's grace we plan to pour the footing on Tuesday, April 6. We will then continue in faith! We still need $19,000 to complete the building but are sure the LORD will provide.
